According to Bayelsa Media, Governor Henry Seriake Dickson has again made bayelsa a better state and the entire people of bayelsa is greatful for his Restoration goals for the state being achieved gradually.
The Governor today inaugurated a special committee on Gas Utilization to develop a gas master plan for the state.
This is the Mandate of this Committee.

Mandate:
- To develop a gas master plan for the state.
- Identify all gas flaring points in the state
- identify Companies responsible for the flaring
- identify how long the flaring has been
- identify Opportunities for investment
- Develop local and international business linkage and attract investors.
- identify all the sources and Gas deposits in the state.
- Advice and recommend to the state government as to how to harness the gas resources for the development of state.
