The Igbo's Have No Claim On The Term Biafra, John Idumange.

John Idumange Director at Glory Fm97.1 explain the true Origin of the Term 'Biafra' and warn Niger Delta to Beware of our oil.

According to John Idumange who posted on Facebook yesterday concerning the Term 'Biafra' he said in his letter post, __LETS PUT THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON BIAFRA.

***Warns the Igbos from Using Biafra

Where did the name Biafra come from?  It is the Bight of Biafra, which is in the Niger Delta Region. The Igbos only stole the name because they are acephalous societies (Stateless)    Remember the colonial masters also called the Rivers around Bonny - Bight of Bonny.  There is also the Bight of Benin.  What is a Bight?  A bight is a curve or recess in a coastline,  river where ships and boats can sail.  A bight is a riverine area but the Igbos are landlocked.

Now it is the Niger Delta that really owns the name Biafra, the igbos are land locked.  They only stole the name because the thought they would have access to the Niger Delta Oil to provide budget for their Republic.  The Igbos have no right to lay claim to the term BIAFRA.

THE NAME BIAFRA ACCORDING TO THE COLONIAL MAP OF NIGERIA REFERS TO THE NIGER DELTA REGION.  THE IGBOS SHOULD STOP ASCRIBING THAT NAME TO THEMSELVES.__
