Tribal & Sentimental Governing System In Bayelsa State, Epie/Atissa Treated Like Slaves

Source : Ken Godwin

Despite tireless support for past and present government of bayelsa state in the name of democracy, the Epie/Atissa people are still yet to be recognised as one of the tribes having their own say in the state governing system.

Epie/Atissa are the host of bayelsa state capital city (Yenagoa) with no university in the state capital.

The Capital is now running dry of population and activities.

__At Last Gov Dickson give in to tribal/sentimental pressure -  Prof. S. Agoro  evicted as provost... very sad!.

Prof. S. Agoro was the only person from  EPIE-ATISSA aborigine that were heading higher educational institutions in Bayelsa State. aside that, Prof Agoro is an erudite professor of no mean repute, couple with the fact that he is God fearing, not just a mere Christian but a Zonal Minister in GEWC.

Oh God help me to deal with this bitter pains in me!. Why and how long on earth shall we the EPIE-ATISSA people continue to be in modern day slavery in the hands of the other tribes in Bayelsa state?. I saw it coming, though the principal beneficiary never believed, but  here we are gnashing our teeth once again in excruciating pains, shame and disbelief...well our psyche has adapted either by fault or default to the positions of a second class citizen if not third or fourth class.

Though We host the state capital but nothing to show forth. Unless the Okaka prison Yard, the beautiful Cemetery at Swali and the recently commissioned glorified burial-ground nicknamed  'Heroes Park'.

Fellow Youths of EPIE-ATISSA!, I charge you to be upright and resilience in our agitation to produce the next Governor of Bayelsa state come 2020, Let's stand tall above any form of intimidation, relegation, marginalization and tribal oppression. Enough is now enough!, 2019/2020 is EPIE-ATISSA turn.....I urge you to be prayerful nd resolute .... Be strong... Be courageous,  don't succumb to any form of political deceit till we come out victorious.... ASOO' OGUAN!. Share till it get to even the unborn.
